How do you level a Gladiator fast?

Follow the yellow main-story quests, fight packs instead of single mobs, and spend points on the skills that clear groups. Gladiator is one of the safest classes to level because it is tanky and recovers HP through its kit. Once you hit 45, switch to the Gladiator PvE build.

Gladiator 1–45 route

Level What to do
1 Rending Blow, Leaping Slam and Overhead Slam to 8. Open elites with Mocking Blade.
8 Crushing Wave to 8 for packs.
10 Rush Strike, then Overhead Slam after a dodge.
12 Nezekan Daevanion board unlocks.
14 Ruinous Blow to 10.
16 One point in Defiance.
~17 Amulet to +10, then take your weapon to about +10.
20 Zikel board unlocks.
22 Stigmas unlock: Focused Block, then Lunge Stance toward 20, then Rage Burst to 5.
30 / 40 / 45 Vaizel, Triniel and Azphel boards unlock.

Which stigmas while leveling?

The leveling set trades boss damage for AoE. Wrath Wave and Blade Toss hit packs; Rage Burst and Zikel’s Blessing stay from the boss set.

Leveling / AoE farming

  3. 3 Zikel's Blessing
  4. 4 Blade Toss

Use the second card (Leveling / AoE farming) until 45, then move to the boss set. Plan the shards with the stigma calculator.

What else speeds up leveling?

  • Clear sealed dungeons and strongholds on your route; they give Daevanion crystals.
  • Turn in Empyrean Trace feathers at the Monolith; around 95 feathers takes it to level 11.

FAQ

What is the fastest way to level a Gladiator in AION 2?
Follow the main story quests, group mobs with Leaping Slam and Crushing Wave, and upgrade your amulet and weapon to +10 early. Enhancing to +10 never fails, so it is the cheapest power you can get.
When do Gladiator stigmas unlock?
At level 22. The four Global slots open at levels 22, 27, 32 and 37.
